My five team roles for the development of this project are

Creative Lead : Myself

I like to think I would specialize in the creative components of starting a new company. In the creative lead roll I would have multiple different specialties and responsibilities. I would cover the graphic design aspects such as produce any art, icon, logos, work on ads with the marketing person. With the marketing and engineer team member establish and communicate the brand identity so everyone is on the same page and everything will be cohesive. I would work with the engineer to create wireframes and website prototypes. Another roll I would be acting as the sole graphic designer on this team is a UI designer. As the UI designer I would be working with the engineer as well.

Project Manager

This is such an important roll for a team. The project manager will be responsible for keeping track of everything going on. They will create project plans, schedule and budget our time. Assign tasks to other members, implement deadlines and provide status reports to the client. The project manager in this case will also take on the roll as account manager. The project manager for in this case will also do reviews at every step of the process to make sure the web app is coming out the way as intended. They will also conduct user testing with the pilots to gather feedback to bring back to the team for any further changes that need to be made.

Digital Marketing

I would also have one person on the team cover all the categories that fall into digital marketing. This person would create the written content for all our marketing. They will also cover tasks such as SEO specialist, email marketing and social media manager. They will also come up with a digital marketing plan, and work on track with the rest of the team.

Development and Engineering #1

We will have a team member responsible for front-end development of the web app. This coder will work on creating our digital product that users will see and interact with. They will code and create the layout handed to them from the creative lead (myself). They will have to validate and test their code, and ensure the layout responds to various devices & that it displays and behaves the same across all browsers. They will also need to implement SEO plan handed to them from the marketing team member.

Development and Engineering #2

Our second engineering team member will be responsible for back-end development. They will plan and develop the whole application architecture, decide on servers and databases, how API and external integrations should work and how to make sure the whole product is secure and stable. In this case because will have a small team, the back-end developer will also be responsible for quality assurance. They will need to make sure the application is bug free, has adequate support across all devices and meets all requirements.
